It was announced today that Team Penske and Dick Johnson Racing have formed a partnership that will have Marcos Ambrose drive the #17 Ford Falcon beginning in 2015. I will definitely be following V8 Supercars more closely than I have have in the past.
Side note: This also marks the second NASCAR driver to leave a team to join Penske in another form of racing.

I'm looking forward to seeing how well this works out. DJR is a solid team and Penske could probably help make the team better. It also helps that Ambrose will be joining them too. He has a good history in V8SC.

Full time drivers? None that I'm aware of. There is the occasional Canadian that will compete in the road course races for the small teams. The only full time non-american will be Daniel Suarez in the Nationwide Xfinity Series for JGR

It's a shame, but I'm not exactly surprised. He's a fast driver, but RPM can't seem to put a car underneath him that can match his skill.
